Do you know you can block spammers (Bad users) from using your website
with the help of Htaccess, as a forum administrator i have some bad
users who always publish spam content but i have a way of dealing with
them though i always keep an eye on my forum 24 hours a day because it's
my full time business.
In case so guys are trying to show you that they own your website don't
worry you can block them from accessing your website by block their IP
address through your htacess.
Htacess is a file that can be found on your web root folder, with
htaccess you can command your server and tell your server to handle some
certain request and blocking bad users through the htaccess is one of
the request that can be handled by the htacess.
To block bad users ip address simple open your htaccess and write the following command.
Once you add the to your htacess anybody with this 82.145.221.221 will not be able to access your website again.
How to find your website visitors IP Address:
I know the question no your head now is how to find the ip addresses of
your website bad users but don't worry i will tell you how to find their
ip addresses.
First it depends on the platform your website is built on, some website
will show the ip of the users together with the spam post while some
will not.
For some website you can go to your users table and search for any
particular username it will appear together with that person's Ip
address though am sure this will not be hard for some webmasters because
they know where to find the ip addresses of their members.
